In today’s first reading Qoheleth declares: “Vanity of vanities…All things are vanity!” The Hebrew word Qoheleth means “speaker” or “preacher.” His message seems to be very pessimistic: “Vanity of vanities…vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!”...
