Music Ministry & Choirs
The Music Ministry & Choirs are open to all parishioners who have the desire to sing and worship the Lord. The Ministry provides an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts and be an integral part of the worship.
The Adult Choir sings at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday with a rehearsal each Monday evening from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. In addition to Sundays, the Adult Choir sings on many special occasions, including the Christmas Festival of Praise, Christmas, Holy Week, and other holy days. Special rehearsals are held on Saturday’s during Advent and Lent to prepare special selections for the combined choir presentations.
The Worship Ensemble sings at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday. Rehearsals are held Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. In addition to Sundays, the Worship Ensemble sings on many special occasions, including the Christmas Festival of Praise, Christmas, Holy Week, and other holy days. Special rehearsals are held on Saturday’s during Advent and Lent to prepare special selections for the combined choir presentations.
The Teen Choir sings several times monthly at the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Sunday. Rehearsals are held Monday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. This choir is open to singers from Grade 8 through college. Parents of the teens are also welcome to participate.
The Teen Choir is also invited to sing on many special occasions, including the Christmas Festival of Praise, Christmas, Holy Week, and other holy days.
The Music Ministry is always interested in adding to our group of experienced instrumentalists: strings, woodwinds, percussion, keyboard and guitar. All are welcome.
Our musicians support the different choirs at weekend Masses, as well play for a variety of events including Christmas Festival of Praise, Christmas, Holy Week, and other holy days.
