Many thanks to all who worked to make possible and successful, our Christmas and New Year’s Liturgical celebrations. Despite the restrictions placed upon us by the pandemic, all went well.
My deepest appreciation to all who contributed to the Christmas collection. The collection this year was actually higher than last year! That speaks volumes as to the great generosity of so many of you, in this very challenging and difficult moment in our history. Many many thanks!
On the topic of finances, our thanks to the folks at Lustine Toyota, in Woodbridge, for their contribution of $5,000 to Francis House and $5,000 for our Parish School. A special thanks to Keith Cattie from Lustine whose efforts made these donations possible.
As we begin this New Year, we plan to continue the periodic Parish Town Hall “Zoom” meetings as well as present several adult education programs, using electronic forums. Finally, as we continue to deal with the challenges of the pandemic, please know that you continue to be in the thoughts and prayers of the Friars and Staff. There is a light at the end of the tunnel with the advent of the vaccines, however the medical experts tell us we still have some tough months ahead. Be well, and stay safe!
Sincerely in Christ,
