32nd Sunday, Year C

Last week’s gospel, the encounter with Zacchaeus, was the last personal encounter prior to Jesus’ arrival at Jerusalem.Along the way there are many more encounters and questions. Perhaps none more important than the one asked by the Sadducees who did not believe in the Resurrection as it was not mentioned in the Torah/Pentateuch – the first five books of the Bible. Also, there are a not of passages that were passed over between Sundays – read the commentary and “catch up” with the flow of Luke’s gospel.
